Participation Form

• Minimum of 6 participants
• Act must not be more than 6 minutes long
• One entry form per item
• Each participant is limited to 1 item
• Theme: Diwali or cultural event from regions of India. (No Bollywood movie songs). Regional languages are encouraged.
• Bring backup cd on day of performance with you
• All entries due via website by September 20
• Music is due via email (dfwdiwalimela@gmail.com) by September 25. If cannot send through email, other arrangements must be made, but please contact us if this will be an issue so we can set up these arrangements.

• The goal of the outside stage performances at Diwali Mela is to showcase the Indian subcontinent rich traditional culture.
• Diwali Mela will be on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at New Cowboys Stadium in Arlington (More information on timings is TBA). One Legend Way Arlington, TX 76011 (817) 404-0091
• All participants and up to 2 choreographers receive a free entrance ticket. Parents, family, friends of participants must purchase their own ticket to attend Diwali Mela. (reminder: tickets are available online at a discounted price of $8 through September 25 at www.dfwdiwalimela.com)
